Textile Collection
Textile art explores fabric and fibres as artistic media, combining texture, colour, and surface design techniques to produce visually rich artworks.

The Family Tree
Media: Iced dyed fabric, acrylic and hand stitch
Inspiration:
Created as part of 'Threads of Memory' Exhibition based on family heirlooms. My heirloom piece is an apple tree passed down across four generations. A living expression of family love. For each new birth in the family, a new sapling is propagated and grown from the parent tree continuing this family tradition. As we grow and change, each tree grows and changes too, carrying our stories forward, a rooted symbol of connection, care, and enduring love across family generations.

Sweet Memories
Media: Iced dyed fabric and acrylic paint
Inspiration:
This piece came naturally from the memories evoked during the project 'Threads of Memory'. My apples carry seasons of love and nurture with them. There is a story in each one, from sweet memories of sunny days pruning and tending, to reaching up to pull an apple from the tree. Tasting it right there and then, crisp and sweet. One bite, and I’m back again, standing beneath my dad’s apple tree, sharing so much more than just an apple.

The Apple
Media: Fabric, steel, PIR board, hand stitch and felting.
Inspiration:
Created as part of the 'Threads of Memory' exhibition based on family heirlooms -
Through this sculpture, I reflect on how something as simple as an apple can hold a lifetime of love, history, and belonging. Though simple in form, it holds such deep meaning. The fruit of my family’s heirloom trees, each apple holding a patchwork of memories.
